Experience
Principal Product Designer | D2L
D2L is an EdTech company, developing software to change the way the world learns. I am a member of the User Experience Leadership Team, defining process & strategy for the user experience of all company products. I also lead large, multi-year strategic design initiatives, and mentor junior designers.
Senior Product Designer, Team Lead | D2L
As Team Lead, my role was to lead product design work for large strategic initiatives to redesign core product workflows, involving Grades, Outcomes, Data & Analytics and others.
Senior Product Designer | D2L
Key design projects include UX for First Use, Content Management, and designing components and patterns for the company’s design system.
Senior Interaction Designer | QuickPlay Media
QuickPlay Media developed mobile applications to stream video and audio. I was responsible for leading the design of mobile and tablet applications for major telecom brands including AT&T, Verizon, Sirius/XM Radio, Blackberry, Rogers, and Bell.
Senior Information Architect | Snap Media / QuickPlay Media
Snap Media was a small professional services web design firm. I was responsible for design, architecture and implementation of large entertainment-focused web properties for Canadian TV shows including TVO, CBC, Degrassi.tv and Chum. Snap Media spun out into QuickPlay Media in 2005
